Rob's Run on Redemption Island

Love him, hate him or just tired of watching him, Boston Rob is the Best the Game has ever seen. My breakdown for Rob's game play is simple...... Domination. He came with one goal, to win and he did that and did it almost flawlessly. In over 20 seasons of Survivor I don't believe anyone can point to anyone that had a near perfect game as Boston Rob did.

Lets get a Few things straight for the whiners out there.

1.  Boston Rob had an Unfair Advantage- Yes Rob has played three times before. Yes he is considered an all-star. There is an easy answer to this... Get over it. The Ometepe tribe messed up on day three when they didn't vote him off first.

2. The players were star-struck into slavery- Yes Rob had an appeal on his fellow tribe members, but wasn't there another all-star in the game that has some star-struck appeal. Zapatera threw a challenge just to vote off Russell Hantz. So you could say that maybe Zapatera wasn't as fooled by the appeal of a proven survivor. Boston Rob had his troops ready to defend him from day one. They did everything he said. Now if the tribe members are not smart enough to overthrow the dictatorship, then it isn't Rob's fault for becoming Redemption Island's Jim Jones.

3. Rob is the clear winner- Not one other contestant could have one. Rob is an easy decision. He controlled the game in every aspect. Phillip and Natalie didn't have a shot, they were just lucky that King Rob was gracious enough to let them have a glimpse at the title. Matt, Mike and even Grant if they could have made it back into the field of play couldn't have overthrown Rob's soldiers. Yeah they won some RI challenges against weaker opponents, but they didn't play a good enough game while they were in the game to show they could take on the Sole Survivor title. Matt was great at RI winning 10 in a row, but when he had a chance to flip and told Rob he thought about it just proves his lack of survivor mental game. Mike tried to Flip Matt..... Good try but i consider your downfall when you decided to throw a challenge and get rid of Russ. Grant who out of the three and really out of anyone in the game had the best shot behind Rob, couldn't prove that he could make things happen when his head was on the chopping block.

4. Redemption Island Twist- It seemed like a great idea and thought to have added a whole new level of game play, was a bust for some. Yes it was dry in some parts. Just because it didn't work as well or wasn't as game changing as many thought it would be it still can has the potential to change future seasons. It didn't and wouldn't work this season because when you have someone controlling half the players in the game the person coming back from RI isn't gonna be able to do much.
